Brindleyplace x National Trust
A launch with national significance
The cherry blossoms at Brindleyplace are a huge draw for the estate, attracting visitors from far and wide to witness the beautiful trees in full bloom. Footfall on the estate increases by around 25% during blossom season, so we wanted to maximise the opportunity this presents.
A blossoming partnership
Our three-year relationship with the National Trust led to us securing the launch of their Big Blooming Break campaign. Timed to coincide with the spring equinox, the event – nestled amongst the cherry blossoms – featured signage, pop-up activations and outdoor furniture to inspire people to step outside and enjoy blossom season.
A celebration of culture and renewal
To help bring the event to life, Brindleyplace came alive with a wish tree, Blossom Queens and vibrant performances, all celebrating Spring and new beginnings. From traditional Chinese dance to a Slavic ritual bidding farewell to winter, the event honoured global blossom traditions with beauty, symbolism and community spirit.
A day of gifts and memories
Visitors to the estate were treated to over 600 giveaways, courtesy of the National Trust, from picnic blankets to visitor passes and branded merchandise. Visitors were also encouraged to pose beneath the blossom for branded photos, creating a personalised memento of the day.
Making headlines
The event gained over 150 pieces of national and regional media coverage, including articles in The Guardian, Express and across National Trust channels. With a potential audience of over 130 million, our campaign reached far beyond Brindleyplace.
Engaging audiences across social media
To boost engagement and exposure, platform-specific content was tailored to resonate with different audiences. LinkedIn was used to highlight the well-being benefits of lunchtime nature breaks for office workers, while Instagram focused on fun, family-friendly activities to reach a broader audience. On the event day, 44 stories were shared on Brindleyplace’s Facebook and Instagram, with many more from visitors spreading the message further.
A blossoming success for Brindleyplace
From vibrant entertainment and meaningful cultural traditions to engaging giveaways and viral social media posts, our campaign transformed Brindleyplace into the place to be – and helped launch the Big Blooming Break in style. By blending community spirit with targeted messaging, the event attracted huge footfall, captured widespread media attention and created lasting memories for visitors and tenants alike.
