Refreshing a brand with over 50 years’ heritage is a delicate process, requiring a light touch and collaborative approach. Our initial discovery phase began with workshops to tease out the brand narrative, which would form the foundations of our work.
Working closely with the client, we gained a thorough understanding of the company’s history and renowned ability to uncover and realise untapped potential. This helped us to define the brand’s purpose: Bringing opportunity to life.
Connecting with the past
Our work also prompted a restoration of the company name from CWC back to a previous incarnation, Clowes, a name that honoured the late founder and created a more relatable and memorable brand.
A bold, contemporary brandmark and vibrant visual language helped usher in the next chapter in the company’s history – respectful and true to their ethos and culture, while providing a fresh platform for future success.
No stone was left unturned in our application of the new brand. Every touchpoint was carefully crafted, right down to a bespoke icon set anchored in the brand’s visual aesthetic.
Applying a digital makeover
We also transformed the brand’s online presence, with a fully responsive website built around our freshly-constructed narrative. Bespoke photography, video and drone footage was carefully integrated to bring projects to life in an engaging way.
Our revitalised brand reconnected Clowes with its heritage, restoring a name synonymous with quality and expertise, and aligning it more closely with the imaginative, forward-thinking property developer that it has become.
